you disliking shigeta.. i found that interesting because i really relate to her and thought that many young women feel a bit lost… wanting a companion and being expected to want a companion but all the while the men they meet being.. disappointing. or is that women just being fickle? i liked how the end was an anti-climax… it was reassuring that there are no conclusions to life, just one experience after the other.

and i think anno’s style is dynamic and very much suited for fashion illustration (not because of the cliche of long limbs, but the details!) but to each their own ^___^

my favorite series by her is “flowers & bees” and i see a category for it so i will look there now. bye!
