Ok, and here’s the dramatic plot I’ve been looking for! Nothing to do with people who aren’t the Goddesses, involves Yggdrasil, fate of Earth, demons, Belldandy, time, etc. Very epic. Also very timely, because Jesus Christ, they’re the most interesting characters with the most boring lives imaginable… though Keiichi may disagree.
I liked and didn’t like the kid simultaneously. He was obnoxious, but I knew he was stirring shit up in a way that needed done. I applaude Fujishima for opening the volume with a Peorth title page, I was happy to see her again and also pleased about her active role this time around. The plot is basically about altering time… we get to see plenty of cool stuff with that, and we also get to see a lot of Urd and Skuld at work, which NEVER happens.
Nice plot. Revived my interest somewhat in the series.
