Oh My Goddess 17
Posted: February 13, 2006 Filed under: Oh My Goddess! Leave a comment »Hee. I liked the Schrodinger’s Whale. Not only was that a nifty creature and cool plot, I’m all about Keiichi getting some love. He’s quite a happy-go-lucky character and takes everything in stride while using Belldandy as a support, but he takes a lot of crap and doesn’t stand up for himself in a lot of situations. To see him get a pet like this and to see him honestly happy (which he may be with Belldandy, but when it comes to relaxing and unwinding, not only are his opportunities more often than not spoiled, he’s also always nervous around her) was quite a rare treat. I like that little guy.
The time expansion story was… eh. I could take it or leave it, but the Schrodinger’s Whale as a side product was definitely a bonus. The Banpei/Girl Robot story was real silly, but I wound up liking it anyway. A real fluffy story that’s hard not to like, and I’m glad Banpei won in the end. I’m also glad he’s taken to drawing on his face in marker.
