Yeah, it’s amazing to me that there’s apparently enough of an audience that they’ve published those series exclusively for the past… three or four years.

I give you a around of applause for trying out a series published by Broccoli Books because lord knows I never will. So much of their stuff seems to revolve around hyper, little moe girls and/or incredibly shallow sci-fi or fantasy premises.

I had the same reaction to “Yoki Koto Kiku.” I found the narrative quite jumbled and confusing, and the in-jokes about the Inugami Clan infinitely less funny because they required so many footnotes. It’s too bad, because it seemed like such a smart premise for a book (what’s not to like about murderous chibis?) and a step up for Broccoli Books.
