Sgt. Frog 6

That’s a lot of manga, especially considering that’s not even everything I read when I first started keeping track of this stuff. I thought I’d try a few smaller things before embarking on W Juliet. I’m going to read a couple one-shots and a two-volume series before I start, and I wanted to read a random volume of Sgt. Frog, because I haven’t in awhile.
I didn’t really like this volume. Almost all the stories seemed a little boring to me, and there were only two that I wound up really liking: there was one which degenerates into a swimming contest between Keroro and Natsumi, and one that’s only about Kururu. I didn’t really like Kururu at first, but now I feel he’s kind of underused. I like what he’s become though. Kururu IS a dick, but this is only eluded to in the most sinister ways possible. He didn’t even get that many lines in his chapter, but he triggered fear in the hearts of the others. Keroro seems to be the only one who knows not to mess with him.
Next volume: Dororo! I’m really impressed that they managed to keep the fifth member away this long.
