Posted: January 29, 2008 Filed under: Skip Beat 5 Comments »This was probably my second favorite volume next to the Ren volume, just because it was so amusing to see Kyoko struggling to control her rage around Shotaro. She tries to hide the fact that she’s the Kyoko that used to date Shotaro, but he quickly figures things out and blows her cover. In addition to opportunities to fight with Shotaro and strangle him for the sake of the music video (she gets to play an angel that “kills” Sho), we learn a little about Sho that isn’t Kyoko’s obsessive negative image of him. Don’t get me wrong, the guy was and still is a jerk, but there would have to be at least a few good points about him in order for Kyoko to have liked him so long, right?
And oh, what’s this? Kyoko and Shotaro may not be finished? WHAT?! Not so much a spoiler as it sounds, I suppose, and nothing else has come of it from what I read, but what an interesting little twist. I was also sad to see a ton of progress blown on another part of the series I’m more interested in, but here’s hoping we’ll get to see more on that in the near future.

OMG, I loved this volume too! I thought Sho just treated Kyoko like crap cuz he didn’t care for her at all..until this volume! I love Angel/Demon Kyoko. She’s so awesome. ^^
I really wanna know why Sho is such an a-hole. I’m sure he didn’t start out that way and it seems like he kind of does appreciate Kyoko in some way. Ahh, the mysteries of the human heart? =/
I’m hoping there’s a good story behind it that will be told sometime later. It will probably be very juicy ^_^
