I actually noted-to-self how well you discussed but skirted details on the Casca and Griffith bits. ^^ And yeah, I totally know what you mean. I’m way behind on my US comic reading right now, and can’t visit ANY of my typical sites because I know it’ll just be spoiler onslaught. ^_^

As for getting carried away with Berserk, I have to say, who can blame you? Berserk itself is usually getting carried away with all sorts of insane awesomeness. Quite frankly it’s one of those series where you could probably have told me all the big details and it’d still be as fun to read.

I actually just started reading it. I always sort of blew it off and thought it looked way too over the top and silly. And I don’t like the cover design with the borders, and the logos kinda ugly. Anyway, I randomly read a scan of a chapter someplace and totally understood how it’s silliness is a total positive and tons of fun. Loved it. I’ve bought the first two volumes, but am broke from moving at the moment. Good stuff though.

Anyway, it’s good to know you’re on the level with spoilers. ^_^

I’m usually extremely conscious of spoilers, and I go out of my way to not spoil things most of the time. There are a lot of sites I avoid before I read things because I hate being spoiled. I got really carried away with the Berserk reviews though, I admit ^_^; That line about Guts was pretty sloppy of me, I apologize. I remember thinking it was extremely important not to mention what happens to Casca, and also not directly mention what Griffith’s decision is, but for some reason, I went crazy with other things.

I love following the reviews on this site, but I find myself often saying ‘oop!’ and having to stop reading or skip a paragraph ahead because I come across some major spoiler like “It takes several monsters to restrain Guts, and that’s when he loses his arm and eye.”

I understand that it’s hard to discuss the events in a volume without giving things away and I’m not in the least upset. I love coming to this site. Just something for ya to think about when you write these. :)
