Nana 13

A little late with the Nana, but that doesn’t make it any less good.

Hachi and Takumi’s relationship is tried a bit in this volume, and it sort of makes me uncomfortable.  Takumi is a control freak, which we knew, but he flexes his muscles and weirdness a bit at the party when he finds Hachi there.  He does something that made me cringe a bit, and Hachi throws doubts into his head about their relationship and stands up a bit, which I wasn’t expecting.

All sorts of scenarios are floated across, relationship-wise, which was sort of weird.  I kind of liked the mixing-and-matching, but some of it involves the two new female characters, Miu and Yuri, who I’m still a little iffy on.  They haven’t quite been in the story long enough, and I sorta feel like I don’t really know them that well, so their presence is not appreciated as of yet.

What else…?  Poor Shin.  Takumi is sort of unkind to him, though Takumi is actually quite right in what he says.  The Shin situation is a creepy one, and I don’t imagine it will go good places.

There’s a happy reunion between Hachi and Nana, and I certainly hope the two will see more of each other.  Something tells me that’s not really in the cards, either, which is unfortunate.
