Thanks for clearing that up! I always wondered, especially since the plot seemed a lot more... indepth than the regular fictitious drama in these types of series. It makes sense that it's not real, especially with that big section that developed Ren's character. I didn't realize that the characters were still filming it until I recently peeked ahead, either. I was under the impression that they finished shooting during that Vie Ghoul story, or a little after, when they were talking about the ratings. I probably should have known better, since that takes away more reasons for Ren and Kyoko to be together.

Dark Moon / Tsukigomori is not a real novel. Yoshiki Nakamura created it as a plot point for Skip Beat. In Japan, Kyoko and co. are still filming the drama (though the plot focuses on other acting projects and so forth), so we haven't seen the end of the drama. Whether any more on Dark Moon will be shown is anyone's guess. I keep hoping it will though.

Yeah, I was kind of bummed that the release schedule slowed down, too. This is literally the series I look forward to the most. I guess it's catching up to Japan, but I'm just so used to reading it every other month. I've been very spoiled this past year and a half or so.

I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with the novel, either. I wondered if it was a real novel or if it was something created just for Skip Beat. It wasn't included in the translation notes in the back of the volume, which is unfortunate. I'd be interested in finding out more about it, too.
