Or in Japanese, for that matter, where he’s apparently credited as “Mickey Bird.” There’s a fifth volume available in Japan, too.

You’re more likely to find copies of the French version, which is titled “Intermezzo”. I can see why Fantagraphics picked it up before Dirk Deppey got the rights to distribute Moto Hagio and Wandering Son – it’s the kind of humour that would fit in The New Yorker. It’s not really for everybody, and you need to be in a certain mindset to “get” the jokes.
