That doesn’t bode well at all. I am also totally addicted and can completely sympathize and agree with pretty much everything that you said. The story is just so horribly tragic, and it’s like it specializes in making things go wrong for the characters. I love the happy times, and I keep hoping that the story set in the present will have a big, happy reunion at the end of the series. That wouldn’t really be in the spirit of the series, but it would be so sad if the Nanas didn’t reunite in the end.

(i even got the anime, which made me really sad, seeing how hopeful they once were and how it all plays out) it’s like ai lives to break our hearts!!!
