		<description><![CDATA[Yeah, I definitely could have read a lot more of these.  The last story in the second volume really is a great way to leave things, though.  I was impressed that he wound the themes up so neatly with that story.

There&#039;s a really shocking story in the collection Monokuro Kinderbook by Kan Takahama where she talks about how her friends were throwing her a surprise birthday party, and  while they were watching TV the broadcast was interrupted by the announcement of the planes flying into the World Trade Centers.  The party atmosphere pretty much dried up and vanished.  It was something I wasn&#039;t expecting from the story, and it was truly amazing how powerful and sobering the reaction was even halfway around the world, and how much of an impact the story had when I read it years after it was written.  I still think of it frequently.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[i love these stories and this mangaka as well. i was shocked tho when he mention 9/11 in one of the stories. made the characters and the stories seem even more real. i hope that we will get more from him. haven&#039;t read vol. 2 yet but i have it. sad to hear that it is only a 2 volume set.]]></description>
